Cannot find my products on the list of Oliver POS web register

Products not syncing properly on your Oliver POS web register? Try clearing the cache memory of your browser. Here's how to do it.

When a user visits a webpage for the first time, the browser requests a file from the website and stores it in its memory so that it can load that page faster next time. It is called cache memory. 

When the browser stores something in its memory, and it does not get updated correctly, the user might face problems of syncing between the actual website and the displayed website in the browser. 

Oliver POS uses this cache memory of the browser to load all the products in the web register faster. With a sync issue like the one mentioned above, Oliver POS might not show all the products that are listed in the WooCommerce shop. To avoid this issue, we request our users to clear the cache memory of the browser if they face any sync issue. 

Let's look at how to clear the cache memory in different browsers: 


Google Chrome:

Close all the tab of the browser. Click the Customize and control button and select More tools. Then choose Clear browsing data to start clearing the cache. 

There is a shortcut to go directly to this page. The shortcut is the Control+Shift+Delete key.

Mozilla Firefox:

Close all the tab of the browser. Click the Settings icon. Go to Options and then select Privacy and Security. Select Clear Data under Cookies and Site Data and clear the cache memory. 






Close all the tab. Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences. Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window. Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.
